“Can Kamala Harris Overcome Donald Trump? Recent Poll Insights.” Cau

September 27, 2024 by cau cau

With less than 40 days until the 2024 election, Vice President Kamala Harris is facing off against Donald Trump, and recent polls indicate she holds a slight advantage in key swing states. Notably, Harris has gained traction in Arizona, Pennsylvania, and Nevada, while her lead in Wisconsin is narrowing.

According to an average of national polls compiled by FiveThirtyEight, Harris leads Trump by 2.9 points. The Bloomberg/Morning Consult poll, which surveyed over 6,000 registered voters from September 19-25, shows Harris ahead by an average of 3 points in the swing states, with leads ranging from a tie to a 7-point advantage.

In Pennsylvania, where the first Harris-Trump debate will take place, Harris’s lead has grown from 4 points to 5 points since August. However, despite her overall lead, a significant portion of young voters—one in six—remain undecided about voting in November, indicating that the campaign’s final weeks will be critical for both candidates as they work to solidify support.

As the race heats up, both Harris and Trump are gearing up for an intense final push, with the outcome hanging in the balance.
