Niecy Nash-Betts and Wife Jessica Betts Plan to Make Love “All Around the World” After Tying the Knot.Linh

Niecy Nash-Betts and Jessica Betts have taken their love all over the world.

Niecy, 54, recently appeared on the Thursday, Oct. 17 episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live for the first time in 10 years and caught the late-night host up on what she’s done over the past decade. As she quickly listed off a few accomplishments, including scoring an Emmy, she shared that she’s also had a couple of changes in her love life.

“I divorced a man and married a woman,” Niecy told Jimmy Kimmel. (Niecy filed for divorce from ex-husband Jay Tucker in 2019 and married Jessica, 42, in August 2020.)

“And then when I got married this time, I had this plan, and it wasn’t deep,” she continued. “I just said, ‘I want to make love all around the world.’ And so far, we have been to 26 countries in four years!”

“Wow. You’ve made love in 26 countries,” Kimmel, 56, then asked before Niecy gave a confirming, “Yeah.”

“Do you have to be touched down on the ground in a room, or like, if you’re flying over? Does it work?” he asked. “Do you ever feel any pressure, like, ‘Oh yeah, we’re here for only one night, we gotta do this?'”

“No, it’s a plan,” replied Niecy. “And we stick to the plan.”

Kimmel followed up to see if the couple has “one of those maps with pins in it,” to record each trip. Niecy replied through a burst of laugher, “No, I don’t have that!”

“I’ll get you one of those,” Kimmel remarked and Niecy quickly retorted, “Thank you! My wedding gift.”

The Emmy winner and musician first connected on social media in 2015, initially bonding over music and then forming a friendship.

She and Jessica proposed to each other on the same day, however the musician popped the question first. Niecy previously told PEOPLE that it came as a surprise to her, as they’d been irritated with each other all day.

Then they tied the knot in August 2020, nearly a year after the actress split from her ex-husband.

Since their wedding, Niecy has revealed a couple other NSFW tips about their marriage.

Earlier this year, in January 2024 at the 75th Primetime Emmy Awards, Niecy said that her secret to a happy marriage is to “skinny-dip often and drink lots of champagne.”

Later that night, she proved her point. She and Jessica celebrated with a nude swim after the actress took home the award for outstanding supporting actress in a limited or anthology series or movie for her role in Dahmer — Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story.
